Our mandate

At DGE, we are the team behind the teams — the unified engine powering Abu Dhabi’s transformation into a future-ready, AI-native government. Our role is to help Abu Dhabi Government work better by building the shared systems, platforms, and capabilities that allow every government entity to operate faster, smarter, and more seamlessly.

We work across all levels of government to help bring coherence to public service delivery, transform operations, and anticipate the needs of citizens, residents, businesses, and public servants alike. From reducing duplication and improving cybersecurity to enabling leadership with real-time data and insights, we focus on supporting the government to be more intuitive, responsive, and human.

We are responsible for spearheading the transformation that will realise Abu Dhabi’s ambitions to become the world’s first AI-native government. Beyond adopting new technologies, this involves reshaping how government thinks, works, and serves. DGE leads this journey by integrating intelligent systems, developing AI capabilities tailored for government, and supporting public servants with the tools and training they need to deliver better outcomes.
