The Department of Government Enablement (DGE) is a centralised government entity aligned with Abu Dhabi’s growth strategy and ambitions and committed to providing enabling services to government entities, citizens, and residents of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
By bringing multiple government entities under the DGE's umbrella with a shared purpose, mission, vision, and values, we are streamlining operations with one single focus and a customer-centric approach to enhance our service delivery, making a meaningful impact on the lives of the people and communities we serve.
Our objectives are to enhance human capital and digitisation, deliver digital government services, and drive synergy to enhance efficiency and productivity across the Abu Dhabi government.
DGE was established under law and in a strategic, operational, and structural shift to replace the Department of Government Support, Human Resources Authority – Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi School of Government, and Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, with the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi as an affiliate entity.
